Meet Kamila Pesks

Advisor at CartórioHelp4U

Kamilla has always been driven by a passion for justice. She graduated in Law from the renowned Faculdade de Direito do Leste de Minas, and built a solid career over nine years of dedication to the Brazilian Judiciary. In the corridors of the courts, she learned not only about laws, but also about the importance of listening, welcoming and seeking solutions for those who needed it most. Despite her success and stability, Kamilla felt a desire to explore new horizons. That was how she made one of the bravest decisions of her life: leaving her established career and heading to England. In a country with a different language and culture, she knew that there would be many challenges — but her desire to grow and reinvent herself was even greater. At first, adapting was not easy. An English student and far from her field of work, Kamilla faced the uncertainty of not knowing if she would return to work with what she loved. After all, laws are different in each country, and this difference seemed like an almost insurmountable obstacle. But life, with its surprising way of connecting paths, brought an unexpected opportunity. At an awards event, Kamilla met Francine Mendonça, an inspiring figure and owner of the largest Brazilian immigration office in London. The connection was immediate — two women passionate about helping the Brazilian community abroad. Impressed by Kamilla’s experience and dedication, Francine invited her to join her team.

Thus, Kamilla began working as an advisor for issuing Brazilian documents, marriages, divorces and other essential services. With empathy, knowledge and excellence, she found her true mission: to be the bridge that connects Brazilians to their homeland, resolving bureaucratic issues with professionalism and care.

Today, Kamilla not only works in the field she has always loved, but also makes a difference in the lives of so many people who, like her, sought a new beginning far from home. Her story is an example of courage, transformation and dedication — and proof that, when we follow our passion, destiny takes care of guiding us to the right place.

Meet Thaís Bunn

Advisor at CartórioHelp4U

Thais has always had a deep connection with the law. A graduate of the University of Southern Santa Catarina (UNISUL), she has built a solid career in Brazil over the last decade, working in areas such as civil, administrative, and public law. Her career is marked by integrity, dedication, and technical excellence.

As a senior lawyer at renowned law firms, Thais has led teams, managed large-scale cases—such as those at Caixa Econômica Federal—and actively participated in hearings and strategic decisions. She also worked in the public sector, as a legal advisor to the Florianópolis Attorney General’s Office, where she analyzed contracts, legal opinions, and highly complex legal issues. Her meticulous vision and ethical stance have always been a distinguishing feature in environments that demand precision and responsibility.

Despite the stability she achieved in Brazil, Thais decided to follow her instinct for growth and transformation. In 2025, she will begin a new phase of her journey: a Master’s degree in Business with Human Resource Management from Northumbria University in London. A choice that combines her legal experience with a strategic vision of business and people—and reflects her desire to broaden her horizons and contribute to global contexts.

Currently, Thais is a member of the CartórioHelp4U team, where she puts her experience to work for the Brazilian community in the United Kingdom, providing empathy, clarity, and commitment in processes involving documentation, legalization, and connections with Brazil.

Her journey is about reinvention, purpose, and vision for the future—and how law can be a link between cultures, people, and possibilities.
