VISA | TIER 1

Tier-1 visas are designed for individuals who intend to work in the United Kingdom; to obtain a Tier 1 visa it is necessary to attain a minimum of 50 points, from the following:

> Qualifications
> Salary from the previous 12 months
> Work Experience in the United Kingdom;
> Relevant knowledge of the english language (10 points minimum)
> Evidence of financial resources (10 points minimum)

There are 3 alternatives for the applicants to prove their language level:
> To be a citizen of an english speaking country
> To pass a test recognised by the UK Border Agency
> To have a degree in english recognised by NARIC (National Academic Recognition Information Centre).

Applicants must have proof of having a minimum of £2.800 pounds sterling in their bank account over the previous three months. Candidates with dependents must show additional financial resources of £1,600 per dependent over the same period.
