Posted by marketing as events, Free stuf to do in London, Post, Uncategorized
Due to be performed in front of the eyes of the world when it explodes onto the vibrant streets, stages and squares of London, Rio Art Occupation will provide an unrivalled cultural experience and set of stimuli to 30 emerging and ground breaking artists from Rio de Janeiro in the run-up to 2016. Thirty Rio artists will occupy London culturally for 30 days working in collaboration with artists and arts organisations from across the British capital. Throughout the project, the artists will combine forces to produce work in arts and non-arts spaces across London, with their work presented on London’s streets, parks, stages, galleries, dance floors and imagination. The event opening will be on 08 of July at Battersea Arts Centre.
Service: 06 July to 04 August
Various venues – all free but for the opening you should book tickets at http://www.bac.org.uk/whats-on/rio-artists-occupation-launch/
